eDPI & Sensitivity Converter

Enter your DPI and sensitivity to get your eDPI and cm per 360, then see the matching sensitivity in other shooters.

If filled, this replaces the sensitivity above.

How to use the eDPI & Sensitivity Converter

  1. Enter your mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity.
  2. Select the game you play. Use Other if you know the yaw value.
  3. Set the DPI you will use in the other game.
  4. Copy the sensitivity from the table. Or start from a cm per 360 value instead.

How it is calculated

eDPI is DPI times in-game sensitivity. Games turn mouse counts into rotation using a yaw value in degrees per count at sensitivity 1. Counts for a full turn equal 360 divided by yaw times sensitivity. Dividing by DPI gives inches per 360, and multiplying by 2.54 gives centimeters.

To convert, the calculator keeps inches per 360 fixed and solves for the sensitivity in the target game. Yaw values used: 0.022 for Counter-Strike, Apex, Source games and Quake Champions, 0.07 for Valorant, and 0.0066 for Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty.

Frequently asked questions

What is eDPI?

eDPI is DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It lets you compare settings with other players in the same game, whatever their DPI.

Why is my eDPI different in each game?

Games use different yaw values, so the same eDPI turns the view by different amounts. cm per 360 is the fair comparison across games.

Which DPI should I use?

Many players use 400, 800 or 1600. Pick one you like and adjust sensitivity in the game. Higher DPI does not change how far the crosshair moves when cm per 360 is the same.

Does mouse acceleration affect the result?

Yes. The conversion assumes raw input with acceleration off. Turn off Enhance pointer precision in Windows for shooters.
